• The email address of your Dash Architect account

2. Getting started

Excel

• Install Dash Architect from Microsoft AppSource, or in Excel go to Home → Add-ins.
• Click the Dash Architect button in the Home tab of the ribbon to open the panel.
• Sign in with your email and password, or choose Continue with Google.
• Select a data range, choose your components, and click Generate.

The Excel add-in requires an Excel version that supports the ExcelApi 1.9 and DialogApi 1.2 requirement sets: Excel on Windows and Mac (Microsoft 365, or Excel 2019 or later on Mac), and Excel on the web. If the button doesn't appear, your Excel version may be too old.

Google Sheets

• Install Dash Architect from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
• Open a spreadsheet and click the Dash Architect icon in the side panel on the right.
• Sign in with your email and password, or choose Continue with Google.
• Select a data range and click Generate.

What's free?

You can create 3 dashboards for free (free dashboards carry a watermark). After that a Pro subscription is required to create more. See Pricing.

How do I subscribe or cancel?

To subscribe, click Upgrade to Pro inside the add-in; checkout is handled by Paddle. To cancel, open the Profile screen (the profile icon next to your email at the top of the panel), click Cancel subscription, and confirm. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Pro until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Where are my receipts?

Paddle emails your receipts. Paddle is our Merchant of Record and handles payments, billing, and tax.

Can I get a refund?

Is my spreadsheet data sent to your servers?

No. The add-in builds the dashboard inside your Excel or Google Sheets session; your spreadsheet content is not sent to or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy.

Why can't a colleague see my dashboard?

In Excel, the dashboard can be placed on the sheet as a picture, which anyone can see; the interactive version opens only for people who have the Dash Architect add-in installed. In Google Sheets, dashboards open in the add-on's own window, so they are visible only to people who have the add-on installed.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@dasharchitect.app from your account email, and we'll delete your account and associated data.

4. Troubleshooting

The add-in panel is blank or doesn't load. Reload the add-in or restart Excel, check your internet connection, and try Excel on the web.

I can't sign in. Check which email you signed up with, try Continue with Google, and if that still fails, contact support.

The generation count is wrong, or my subscription isn't recognized. Sign out and back in. If the problem continues, contact support with your account email.
